A 2nd consecutive 9th placed finish and a cup final appearance albeit in the shield, would be satisfactory for most managers. However the fact remains St Johnston have under-performed for too long now. If St J's were given a school report it would read 'must do better'.
Aston Villa in goal proved to be an astute piece of business during auction 2009 but a distinct lack of firepower (26 goals) was a major problem.

So to 2010/11 and will the weight of expectation continue to halt St J or will those shackles finally be broken....
