A typical season for the Saints. A great auction with some fanastic buys until the strikers. Struggled to score goals and this eventual cost St J a top 6 finish. Was in the hunt for some cash until Xmas but with Sunderland leaking more goals than a sieve St J plummeted down the league.
Yet again the fact remains St Johnston have under-performed for too long now. Must remember to stay sober in the auction to have a chance this year.
The Saints board and fans will be hoping for a season were they are not reliant on the scoring prowess of Heskey, Fortune and Ewerton.
Board Predication: Excellent keeper, defence and midfield. Rubbish strikers as the beer hits home.
