A much improved season for young Thomas, his second season in the big time. Again brought Cesc, however this time for a reduced price of £11m, will he buy him again for this season?
Tom brought a decent keeper last season, with Sunderland. Many managers predicting that they would be tight at the back like Wigan the season before under defence coach Steve Bruce. However, they never really got to grips with the art of not conceding goals and therefore the season ended in mid table.
'Kipper' will need to perform better at the auction to have any real chance of progressing this year.
Has brought in Kip Potter as Director of Football to help with the auction. Has the potential to be a winning formula.
Now an active member of the the boards annual cricket event where his drinking ability is well received. Probably needs to hit the gym a little more to allow him to train his team better.
Board Predication: Kipper has the tactical awareness to perform well this season, especially witht the appointment of Kip Potter. A top 10 finish and good cup run is expected.
